About The Transform Foundation

The Transform Foundation is a charity for charities. We help small and mid-sized charities make the most of digital marketing to recruit donors, volunteers, campaigners and beneficiaries. We do this by giving grants, partnering with leading companies to provide digital skills, funding research and putting on events to educate the sector.

About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Board Of Trustees at a forward-thinking charity with a unique cause, which is tackling one of the biggest and most under-served challenges that the third sector is facing.

We are aiming to recruit someone to our Board Of Trustees that has experience fundraising from major donors, to complement the skills of the existing Board members. In addition to helping the Board Of Trustees provide strategic leadership and governance for the charity, you will also help formulate the strategy for securing high level gifts.

You will be required to attend four Board Meetings a year, which will take place in London.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A proven track-record of securing high level gifts or an equivalent track-record of securing funding in the private sector
  • An excellent personal or professional network of potential funders
  • A passion for digital transformation and its ability to create far-reaching impact for the charity sector
  • High levels of digital literacy
  • Senior management level experience at a high profile organisation
  • Any additional specialised knowledge or skillset that would add to the competencies of the Board Of Trustees (examples would include legal, accounting, fundraising, regulatory, technological or governance expertise)
  • Sufficient time to be able to commit to attending all Trustee meetings
  • An understanding of the legal responsibilities of being a trustee
  • An ability to work as part of a team in a context where decisions are made as a group
